So with the ATBF off to such a great start, I decided to go and interview a couple of authors. Luckily, I caught up with Alyson Noel, a wonderful author who wrote the incredible Immortal series. She was nice and let me ask her a few questions about the fair and other things.
As to her response about the fair, she thinks that the steampunk theme is awesome and very well done. She heard about the ATBF a couple of years ago through the author grapevine.
Like any fan, or journalist, I asked her how she decided to become an author and quite got a bit of backstory. After being turned down as a princess and a mermaid, Alyson didn’t really know what she wanted to be when she grew up. The turning point for her was when she read a book by Judy Blume that inspired her on such a personal level that she decided she wanted to inspire others just as much.
