This is one of the best days of the year!
We’re so excited to announce the keynote speakers at the 2018 Texas Teen Book Festival! Join us on Saturday, October 6 at St. Edward’s University for memorable keynote addresses from Nic Stone and Neal and Jarrod Shusterman!
Nic Stone is the author of the New York Times bestselling novel Dear Martin, which was a William C. Morris Award Finalist. At TTBF, Stone will present her sophomore novel, Odd One Out, a book told from three perspectives that explores the complicated, sometimes confusing dynamics of friendship, love, and identity.
Neal Shusterman is the National Book Award-winning and New York Times-bestselling author of more than thirty award-winning books for children, teens, and adults including The Unwind Dystology, Challenger Deep, which won the National Book Award, and Scythe, a Michael L. Printz Award Honor Book. Joining him in presenting their co-written book, Dry, is Neal’s son, Jarrod. Dry is set in a dystopian future where the California drought, “the Tap Out,” has spread throughout the country.
This year is TTBF’s 10th (!!!) birthday! We’re officially hitting double digits and are thrilled to celebrate with you, Nic Stone, Neal and Jarod Shusterman, and a stellar line up of awesome YA authors. Check out the full lineup!
