Ryan Graudin – #TTBF Author Interview – 2017

August 16, 2017 in TTBF 2017

1. Your story centers around a time traveling ship. If you could travel to any time, what would it be and why? Perhaps this is cliché, but I’d love to travel back to 1920s Paris, where many of the great artists and writers were partying. It’d be so fascinating to attend one of Gertrude Stein’s salons and chat with the likes of Hemingway and Zelda Fitzgerald. 2. What is something you hate but secretly wished you loved? Waking up early. It’d be so nice to rise before the sun and accomplish lots before the day’s chaos sets in, but my body just isn’t wired for that. I’m a night owl through and through. 3. TTBF’s new slogan is “Read Everything.” What book have you read that you’d like to see on our official Read Everything book list for 2017? Reading widely is so important! One of my absolute favorite books that falls outside of the YA category is Megan Shepherd’s middle grade novel The Secret Horses of Briar Hill. The writing is gorgeous and the story is timeless.
