This is a page-turning contemporary thriller that takes on the timely issue of how public information is distorted for monetary gain, and how those who exploit it must be stopped. A girl, Alix, must reevaluate everything she thought was true in her life because it could all be a lie. Could her dad really the bad guy? Alix has to make a choice, and time is running out, but can she truly risk everything and blow the whistle on the man who loves her and raised her?

Lauren Oliver

Lauren Oliver is a New York Times bestselling author whose books include Delirium, Requiem, Pandemonium, and Before I Fall. Her newest novel Panic, has been optioned by Universal Pictures in a major deal. Panic follows Heather as she competes in Panic, a legendary game played by graduating seniors, where the stakes are high and the payoff is even higher. She’d never thought of herself as fearless, the kind of person who would fight to stand out. But when she finds something, and someone, to fight for, she will discover that she is braver than she ever thought.

Jason Reynolds

Jason will be speaking and signing When I was The Greatest at TTBF.

Alaya Dawn Johnson

Alaya Dawn Johnson lives, writes, cooks and (perhaps most importantly) eats in New York City. Her literary loves are all forms of speculative fiction, historical fiction, and the occasional highbrow novel. She is the author of the critically praised The Summer Prince, and her newest book is Love is the Drug, which also happens to be our September Teen Press Corps Buzz Book!!!

Emily Bird was raised not to ask questions. She has perfect hair, the perfect boyfriend, and a perfect Ivy-League future. But a chance meeting at a party for Washington DC’s elite leads to Bird waking up in a hospital, days later, with no memory of the end of the night. Meanwhile, the world has fallen victim to a deadly flu and the outbreak might be connected to her parents’ top secret work. Bird doesn’t trust anyone except for a genius-smart classmate, who also happens to deal drugs and believes in conspiracy theories. As she gets her memory back about that night at the party, Bird might be able to reveal the biggest government scandal in history.

The TPC is loving Love is the Drug and we cannot wait to hear her talk about this book at TTBF!!!!

Becca Fitzpatrick

Becca Fitzpatrick is the author of the highly acclaimed Hush Saga which includes Hush, Hush; Crescendo; Silence; and Finale. Each title debuted as a New York Times bestseller. Becca graduated with a degree in health, which she promptly abandoned for storytelling. Her fifth novel, Black Ice, releases October 7, 2014 and tells the story of Britt Pfeiffer who has trained to backpack the Teton Range, but she isn’t prepared when her ex-boyfriend wants to join her. Before Britt can explore her feelings for Calvin, an unexpected blizzard forces her to seek shelter in a remote cabin, accepting the hospitality of its two very handsome occupants – but these men are fugitives, and they take her hostage! Becca Fitzpatrick will be speaking and signing Black Ice at the TTBF14!!
